My Go-To Banana Smoothie

My Go-To Banana Smoothie

Hi loves!

Okay, so lately I have been obsessed with making smoothies for the boys. It’s a quick snack option or breakfast swap out and the boys get super excited over them. My favorite go-to smoothie has been a banana smoothie. I love this one because I can add or swap out ingredients and I always have these items in house.

I add peanut butter for protein for hubby and I, but since little Alex is allergic to peanuts, he gets his without. I also prefer to make mine with almond milk but since…. you guessed it! Little Alex is allergic to almonds, his is made with cows milk. See, this recipe can be made in many different ways which is why it’s one of my faves!

Ingredients:

  • 2 bananas

  • 1 cup ice

  • 2 cups milk (can use almond milk and can also substitute 1/2 cup of greek yogurt for some of the milk)

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

  • 1 tbsp of cinnamon (I only put cinnamon in for the boys if I make it without peanut butter)

How to make banana smoothie:

  1. Break banana into large pieces.

  2. Place all ingredients in your blender.

  3. Blend 1-2 minutes until smooth.

  4. Serve + enjoy!

Let’s talk blenders! I use my Shark Ninja Countertop blender (below) almost daily. I also use my Ninja Professional blender for larger jobs. I’ll link some other blender options below.
